Our work over the past three decades has been associated with strata managed properties, however the team has been able to effectively service and increase the residential and commercial market under our new guise of National Remedial Building Pty Ltd.
Our highly skilled and experienced team can investigate and report on
issues affecting you. Along with our own people, we are supported by the
very specialised services offered by Steve Alexander Pty Ltd, who is one
of Sydney's most experienced building defect consultants and whose principal,
Steve Alexander, is engaged by National Remedial Building to overview our
quality assurance.
The majority of issues affecting building are related to water ingress,
and over 75% of defects to buildings come into this category. Water ingress
will generally occur through the roof, walls, joints, and failed waterproofing
systems, and NRB prides itself in being able to capably determine and manage
these issues.
The Australian Standards are the guide to ensuring that waterproofing
works are carried out effectively. We train all of our people to understand
these standards and apply them to the work that we carry out. It is detailed
and comprehensive, but it guarantees the success of the work.
There are many waterproofing systems and materials that are available
to the market. We work with the companies whose products have been proven
to be successful, and in turn are given the same status by these companies
and work closely with them. These relationships have been developed over
decades and are maintained.
Our work quality speaks for itself. Refer to the photo gallery to view work carried out by NRB.
Concrete cancer is the rusting of steel work within concrete elements that allows the steel to expand and break the concrete away from the building element. It occurs more particularly near the water but is not limited to this environment. NRB are able to provide positive advice and experience in dealing with this type of repair.
